LHI’s ED takes a preview of 2015


The Executive Director, Life Helpers Initiative, Mr Tayo Fatinikun has articulated the desire of the organization to expand her reach for better and richer service, adding that the organization has been able to commence activities in Kebbi and Zamfara state.

According to him, “we have started working on consolidating and harnessing some internal operational strategies and programmatic drives that are designed to help strengthen our past gains and maximise some other. We are hoping that we will be able to boost the capacity of the staff of the organization through internal and external trainings, seminars and workshops to be organized by us and our development partners. We will also take these opportunities to ensure we have qualified, capable and competent manpower that can effectively drive the organisation at the demand of our operation.”

The Executive Director also stressed that the organization has decided to embark on consolidating and strengthening different activities and programmes of the organization in the communities.

While speaking on the expansion plan of the organization, the Executive Director said the pursuit of the organization is not only on territorial expansion, but introducing initiatives that can strengthen the operational of LHI for better community services and fine-tuning of the on-going engagements.

He stated that as part of the plans to enrich the organization’s operation, there was a relaunch of the organization’s website, introduction of research and documentation in the Monitoring & Evaluation unit, strategizing of developing communication plan, were all initiated in the last few months.

The Ciroma of Bodinga, Alhaji Junaidu Abdulrauf in a recent visit to the Executive Director, applauded the organization for her different initiatives that is transforming communities in Sokoto state.

Alhaji Junaidu Abdulrauf said the Sokoto state people especially in his domain are excited having a community development organization such as Life Helpers Initiative in the state, praying that the organization will expand in her vision in order to reach more people within and outside the state.
