@Commemorating the International Day to Protect Education from Attack in Adamawa State!!!

Life Helpers Initiative (LHI) commemorated the International Day to Protect Education from Attack in Adamawa State, joining partners and government stakeholders in advocating for safe schools.

Led by Hon. Commissioner of Education, Dr. Garba Umar Pella, a solidarity walk was held, followed by a meeting with Deputy Governor Professor Kletapwa Farauta. Representing the EiE, Mr. Steven Medugu highlighted threats to education from conflict and climate induced flooding, emphasizing the need for vacating schools occupied by security forces and IDPs, and increased funding for a secure education system.

A quiz competition among schools celebrating students’ creativity and resilience. Advocacy walk was done to mark the day and also create awareness on the need for quality education in a secured environment for all children.

LHI remains committed to advocating for safe schools through EiE coordination, ensuring every child learns in a secure environment.
