We celebrated World Breastfeeding Day with the community members in Sabon Birni!
Under the ECHO project, LHI is proud to partner with the EU, CHAD, and IRC to empower women and families with knowledge on breastfeeding and self care.
The celebration was more than just a day it was a movement towards a healthier, happier future of all children! We were honored to have esteemed guests including LGA Director of Health, PHC Sabon Birni Director, and IMAM Kurawa, who joined us for a breastfeeding demonstration, role play sessions, and discussions on building support for breastfeeding mothers and addressing challenges.
The guests commended LHI on the project’s impact, noting that it has brought free medical treatment and drugs, significantly reduced malnutrition, and improved overall health outcomes in the community.
Together, let’s nurture and thrive!
