To the impactful flag-off ceremony of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence in Sokoto State!

We’re proud to have been part of this significant event, organized by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Sokoto State, in collaboration with esteemed donors and implementing partners, UN

USAID,EU,Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and fellow CSOs!

The Commissioner of Women and Children Affairs, Sokoto State, addressed the crowd, emphasizing the importance of speaking up against gender-based violence.

Our Director of Gender and Social Inclusion took the stage, urging girls to voice out their concerns and seek justice. She stressed that justice should be served to all victims of GBV.

In a powerful call to action, she also appealed to potential perpetrators to seek help, preventing them from committing crimes. And, she reminded everyone that Life Helpers Initiative (LHI) support lines are OPEN for victims seeking justice and help!

Together, we amplified the voices of survivors, advocated for policy change, and promoted a culture of zero tolerance for GBV!
