#Government and LHI Strengthen IDP Education in Goronyo Sokoto State
On March 19, 2025, the Special Assistant to the Governor, alongside directors from the State Agency for Mass and Literacy Education and representatives from Life Helpers Initiative (LHI), visited the IDP School in Goronyo LGA, Sokoto State.
The visit, facilitated by LHI’s education component, aimed to assess the school’s needs and enhance collaboration for improved learning conditions. Key findings included desks, learning materials, and essential facilities like water and toilets.
The S.A. reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting IDP education, emphasizing a sustainable partnership with LHI. Moving forward, efforts will focus on resource mobilization, policy integration, and community engagement to ensure every displaced child has access to quality education.
