Outreach2024

LHI is thrilled to share the success of our recent outreach in Goronyo and Rabah LGAs, under the BHA project. Partnering with stakeholders to address a myriad of health concerns, with impressive turnout and both adults and children benefiting from consultations and tests, receiving essential medical assistance and drugs.

At the LGA secretariat, a coordination meeting underscored the importance of community ownership in our endeavors. The Local Health Officer (LIO) demonstrated commitment by offering support for vaccinations, planning specific immunization days to cater to clinic traffic. The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team pledged assistance in managing registers and synchronizing data with the state’s district health information system (DHIS).

Security personnel actively participated, ensuring a regular presence and offering escort services from Goronyo to Marnona. This collaborative effort signifies our dedication to fostering healthier communities, making a tangible impact on their well-being.
