World Toilet Day is held every year on 19 November. It has been an annual United Nations Observance since 2013, with a theme. This year’s theme of World Toilet Day 2022 is ‘Sanitation and Groundwater’ and the campaign title is ‘Making the invisible, visible.
Inadequate sanitation systems spread human waste into rivers, lakes, and soil, contaminating the water resources under our feet.
So everyone should have access to a toilet connected to a sanitation system that effectively removes and treats human waste.
That is a step to taking action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and achieve sustainable development, which is part of our responsibilities as citizens and individuals.
Say NO to open defection!!!
